Robert Root

Robert Root is a Pacific Northwest writer, artist, and musician with roots in the local creative community. Teaming with his father, he served as assistant director of Deep Waters Poetry Forum for five years and was one of three founding members of the Tacoma Urban Orchestra. He is currently working on a children's book. Apart from wielding the pen, he enjoys photography, music, the woods, outdoor exploration of all kinds, film, and time with friends and family. His greatest source of pride and joy is his son Collin, a recent university graduate now making his way in the world with confidence.
